With APT, users can efficiently transmit and receive images using acoustic technology. The process involves transforming each column of the selected image through a Fast Fourier Transform, which is then outputted through the speaker of an iPhone. On the receiving iOS device, the transmitted audio is visualized through a spectrogram, allowing the images to become visible. This application provides a convenient way to transfer images via phone or embed them into various audio recordings.
The pro version offers additional functionalities such as the ability to select between two coding methods, opt for a linear or logarithmic frequency scale, and send the resulting audio via email. Furthermore, the pro version is free from advertisements, providing a seamless user experience.
